The Yoshida Gallery is a short walk from JR Kamakura Station’s East Exit, across the street from
the lovely Yukinoshita Catholic Church. There will be a sign on the street in front of the gallery.
The swords will be displayed on the 2nd floor.

Ownership of a Japanese Samurai Sword is completely legal. We comply with all Japanese exportation requirements for the sword to be sent stateside FREE of charge for all clients.
If you’ve had the privilege of having lived or travelled in Japan, an antique Samurai sword is the country’s most prized and celebrated keepsake. So much more than a simple souvenir, it will become a family heirloom for generations to cherish, preserve and remember you and your time in Japan by.
This was Unique Japan’s seventh sword show in the city of Kamakura, the birthplace of the Kamakura Shogunate. Kamakura became the political center of Japan in 1192 and ended in 1333. It is widely held belief that the finest Samurai swords are meant to have been made during this period of time.
As in all our shows, customers have the unique opportunity to INVEST in quality Japanese Samurai swords from as far back as the Kamakura Period (800 years ago) to modern-day collectibles from WWII.
We’ll have approximately 40 Japanese swords FOR SALE at the event – all VERY REASONABLY priced. There is NO OTHER sword show on Okinawa as significant.
Every sword has a unique story and we do our best to communicate the special qualities of each piece with our customers. Every sword will be available for immediate ownership.
ENTRANCE IS ALWAYS COMPLETELY FREE. We invite you to experience the feeling of holding a real Japanese Samurai sword from centuries past – up close and in person.

Swords can be purchased via Visa or Mastercard, in cash or direct bank transfer. Cash and bank transfer payments are granted a 4% discount.

Layaway Plan Available
As the investment of a sword is a significant one, Unique Japan offers clients the ability to pay for the sword over a period of time. Our layaway plan spans 3-months, 6-months, 9-months or 1-year. A minimum 20% deposit is required with a 40-DAY INTEREST FREE EARLY-BIRD repayment window option.

Please note that we cannot deliver any sword to a US base. If a sword is purchased, Unique Japan will handle all the required paperwork to send it legally and safely to the United States on behalf of the owner (which we have done so many times in the past) or to an address OFF BASE in Japan. Each shipment is fully insured with track and trace, sent by Express Mail Service from Japan Post. The cost is just $150 to send a sword and its full package to the United States.
