  • Remarkable craftsmanship. A pair of chopsticks designed to last a lifetime. How the chopsticks are made:
    1. Cut the carefully selected wood to the desired size. The wood used is either imported rosewood or ebony.
    2. Carve the wood until it reaches a preferred state.
    3. Japanese lacquer is carefully hand-painted and dried many times to reach its unified appearance.
    4. Once a group of chopsticks are created, they are dampened and spun together to create a unified length.
    5. With approximately seven chopsticks laid side-by-side in one hand, the craftsman polishes the chopsticks into their final shape.
    6. The chopsticks are polished again and laid to dry naturally under the sun for 1 day.
    7. A final polish and buff is applied, thus delivering a distinguished shine that helps to preserve the wood. With time, the chopstick will “age” gracefully and beautifully.
