Skillfully engraved with an impressive dragon that adorns the full length of the blade, this Edo period wakizashi is a rare find. The blade shape is classic hira-zukuri (flat make) with a slight curve to it making it extra sharp in design.

The jihada (body) is a combination of itame (plank grain) and mokume (wood grain) and the hamon (temper line) is a superbly suguha (straight).
